The spacious outdoors and alfresco dinning close to the purpose built BBQ invites you to spend relaxing evenings with your family and friends. The villas are built within an amazing verdant garden among an abundance of fruit trees and colourful flowers. Stone details and earthy tones match the setting and traditional Cefalonian architecture.
The area of Trapezaki is amongst the most known and preferred holiday areas in Kefalonia, as it offers a quiet and natural setting close to the beautiful sandy coastline and its organised beaches, but also the town of Argostoli. It is a central point to start your trips exploring the island.

Wildlife Sense is a sea turtle research & conservation organization based on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, Greece. The team does a wonderful job every year and has contributed a lot to the multiplication and conservation of the turtle population in the Ionian Sea. Check out their fantastic work in https://wildlifesense.com/en/
A couple of years ago me and my family had the luck and honor, indeed, to watch multiple nests hatching at Megali Ammos Beach in Minies. We helped the little ones find their way to sea, we were all thrilled with the procedure.

The 21st May is a local holiday for Kefalonia and the rest of the Ionian Islands, as we celebrate the unification of our islands with the rest of Greece. Students from all schools participate in the parade and take part in many activities and speaches that refer to this historical moment.
In 1862, Britain decided to transfer the islands to Greece, as a gesture of support intended to bolster the new king's popularity. On May 2, 1864, the British departed and the islands became three provinces of the Kingdom of Greece though Britain retained the use of the port of Corfu. On 21 May 1864 the Ionian Islands officially reunited with Greece.

This Monday was Clean/ Ash Monday, a day off, weather was fantastic for the kids to fly their kite and have picnic, but three of us decided to hit the mountains....Close enough to be back for launch but far - and high- enough to test our climbing and walking skills, but also admire the Cyclopean Walls of Ancient Krani.
Ancient Krani (around 6th c. B.C) was situated in the coves of Koutavos gulf, built on the hills that rise above the lowlands of Krania. According to the archaeologists, the lowlands of Krania were the main area of the ancient city. Krani was one of the four cities of Kefalonia, along with Proni, Palli and Sami. Today, a large part of the walls still remains and witnesses the ancient Greek art of fortification.
The path is not hard to walk, it is 10km if you start from Argostoli and climb up to Razata. However, you can visit the wall by car, just drive on the main Argostoli to Sami road and just before you reach the village of Razata the sign will indicate the way to the right. Follow this track until you reach a signed indicated open area where you can park.
