IMPORTANT UPDATE: ISSUING 18 months valid CREDIT VOUCHER

Dear friends,

we really hope that you and your families are all in good health, safe and strong. The epidemic is in many countries still out of control and in others showing that things are getting better. We all pray this nightmare to end soon and never return.
Travel restrictions will not allow most of tourists to visit Greece until it is safe for all. As said in previous update, we follow the situation very close and taking one step at the time, we adjust accordingly, always respecting you and having your and our safety as a priority, but also securing the smooth operation of our businesses.
As of 13/4/2020 Kefalonia Villas and our affiliates Sarlata Villas and Fiscardo View Villas will make use of the new Act of Legislative Content that was published in the Official Journal of the Greek government 84 A', 13 April 2020 and, following the guidelines, will issue a credit voucher instead of immediate cancellation refund to any customer who due to COVID- 19 restrictions wishes to withdraw his/ her reservation and is according to our cancellation policies entitled a refund.
The voucher's amount will be exactly the amount you have paid as a deposit for your villa/ apartment rental and it will be valid for eighteen (18) months from the day of issue.
Τhe voucher is issued to any bookings with check in between 25 February 2020 - 30 September 2020.
In this way, you do not lose your money, you can keep your reservation and make use of the deposit any time within the 18 months. You can choose any week available and make use of the money you have paid as a deposit. The balance payment will be adjusted in accordance with the total cost of the rent of the accommodation you choose and should be paid 30 days before arrival, this does not change.
PLEASE NOTE: If for any reason you do not use the voucher within the 18 months window, then we will refund you the amount you have paid for your rent at the end of the 18 months after the issue of the voucher.

Adjusting our policies | Offer more flexibility

Dear friends,
we understand that amidst this difficult period we are all experiencing, travel plans are not our very first priority.
Taking into account the current global COVID- 19 issue and as a local company fully aware of the situation and with all respect to all our clients, we are trying to do the best we can for the best of all, trying to be as much flexible as we can be, prioritising yours and the community's safety, health and wellbeing and following official guidelines.
For now, we feel the best we can do is take one step at the time, so we have made some changes and adjustments, in order to offer you more confidence and peace of mind.

** For all new bookings from March 2020 onwards, we have changed our booking and payment policies to a much lower deposit and the balance payment to 30 days before arrival (was 60) and extending it as needed.
** For all existing bookings due to arrive on early summer dates, we are extending the balance payment due date to 30 days before arrival (was 60) and evaluating the situation we can stretch it more in order to have a clearer picture of the situation. Taking it again from that point we can discuss all options available for you.

Our motto now is "don't cancel your bookings- change the dates". In this way we can together save tourism. Kefalonia will be here for you when the time is right :)

A new Experience !!!

Cooking Lessons at your Villa!!!
Learn how to cook your favourite traditional Kefalonian dishes from scratch with the guidance of our experienced private chef.

Former owner of two restaurants in New York and with more than 10 years of experience as a private chef, Paraskevi will help you learn authentic Kefalonian recipes and feed your appetite for culture. You have the chance to cook dishes together according to the season, so everything will be fresh and healthy. Learn how to prepare your favourite starter, salad, main course and dessert, talk about the Greek culture and the healthiness of our recipes and ingredients, while you’re enjoying a glass of local wine with a variety of local cheese.

Your cooking lesson is private for you and your family or friends or you can join a group. It can be held at your villa or at the chef’s house and beautiful verdant garden at Metaxata and usually starts at 10:30am. Everything can be adjusted to your preferences and taste, you will inform us ahead of any allergies or ingredients to avoid, and at the end you will get a print out of the recipe, so you can try it back home and impress your family and friends with your new cooking abilities and exceptional new menu :)

Cooking with Paraskevi will be a feast of tastes and an unforgettable experience.
